Social Media Consulting and Education
The various Social Media platforms are daunting, to say the least. From the days of Friendster in the early 2000’s to the myriad of Social Networking sites available to the public these days, it is constantly evolving and can present a challenge even to the most enthusiastic geek. Are you interested in breaking into the Social Media world beyond the Facebook page? I can help you with that. I will set up your various accounts, provide diligent coaching on how to use them, and continually monitor your social actions and correct any mis-steps, or offer helpful advice. I can help you make a name for yourself in Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, Tumblr, and more.
Social Media is more than tweeting and posting Facebook updates, and I can help you use it to draw attention to your business through special events, promotions, and offers. Are you considering using a social coupon like Groupon or Living Social? Let’s decide if that’s the best move for you. I can help you avoid the pitfalls of a social media mis-step, and instead grow and develop your brand through engaging and interacting with your community.

In August 2010 on a Monday evening I thought it would be a great idea to get some of the Savannah Twitter folks together for dinner that Friday evening. I tweeted my idea to the others in my timeline, and five days later there were 12 of us gathered at the Wild Wing Cafe in downtown Savannah. Since then we have experienced exponential growth at each of our montly events. I am so pleased with how far this has come, and I look forward to the future of Savannah Tweetup. With the help of my partner Erik Shultz, we have raised food for the less fortunate, organized the first Foursquare Day, and celebrated birthdays, engagements, and anniversaries, all through Twitter. Savannah Tweetup or #savtweetup’s mission is to provide all-inclusive events for anyone who would like to participate. We encourage networking, friendship, philanthropy, and fun. In less than a year #savtweetup has attracted the attention of The Savannah Morning News, BiS, and The South Magazine. I can’t wait to grow even further.
